REPORT ON THE OUTREACH MADE BY THE SALVATION ARMY OFFICERS’ TRAINING COLLEGE NIGERIA TERRITORY

In respect to the present challenge engulfing the world as it relates to the pandemic called Covid -19. On Monday 30th march 2020, some members of the Staff of the training college alongside few cadets embarked on an outreach to a little community within the environment of Lagos to share a little token of love with them.

The college now been able to produce their own loaf of breads, produced in large quantity, and went to share to the dwellers of this community. Amongst giving them the bread, the college also sanitized the people who came around to collect the token, this is to raise awareness amongst them of the need to sanitize their hands, keep safe and also have something to eat for that morning period.

The cadets and the staff made sure that they were well ready to embark on the outreach. As they all wore face masks and hand gloves, also maintaining social distance as they shared the bread and sanitized the members of this community.

The staff also met with the community leader, prayed for him and encouraged him to do all he can to encourage the community members to keep to the directives of the WHO, stay at home and also pray for God’s complete healing on the world.
